Registration and Check-in
Article 1 International students who have been admitted to our school must go through the following admission procedures at the International Cooperation and Exchange Office on time with the Admission Notice of Nanjing Vocational and Technical College of Communications and the Visa Application Form for Studying in China (JW202 Form) :
(1) Fill out the Registration Form for International Students;
(2) Submit for inspection your passport, visa or foreigner's residence permit in China, Admission Notice, Visa Registration Form for Studying in China (JW202 Form) and Physical Examination Record for Foreigners;
Article 2 International students who transfer to our school from other institutions of higher learning in China must hold the Transfer Certificate issued by the international student management department of the original school. The rest of the admission procedures are the same as Article 5.
Article 3 Those who do not complete the admission procedures on time will be deemed to have given up their admission qualifications. Those who cannot go through the admission procedures as scheduled due to force majeure must apply to the International Cooperation and Exchange Office in writing, e-mail or fax to apply for an extension of registration, and the extension of registration shall not exceed two weeks.
Article 4 New international students must go to Jiangsu International Health Travel Health Center for physical examination according to regulations after admission. Those who fail the physical examination will be disqualified from admission and will leave the country within a time limit. Those who have been diagnosed and confirmed that they can reach the health standard within one year of the third-level A and above hospitals can apply in person. With the approval of the school, they will retain their admission qualifications for one year and return to China for treatment. The expenses incurred shall be borne by themselves.
Students who retain their enrolment status do not have a student status. Those who have recovered from treatment during the period of retention of admission qualifications should apply for admission to the school and go through the admission procedures again with the certificate issued by the third-level A-level or above hospital after review by the health and quarantine department of our country; , the admission qualification will be cancelled.
Article 5 The new international students should pay the tuition fee, accommodation fee and other expenses for the current academic year to the school within 15 working days from the date of registration. If you get a national, provincial or school-level scholarship, you will pay the fee according to the corresponding scholarship policy. Only after passing the admission qualification examination and paying the required fees, can you register for student status and apply for a residence permit.
Article 6 International students who have studied in our school for more than one semester should return to the school according to the registration date notified at the end of the previous semester, hand in their student ID card and foreigner's residence permit in China, and go through the registration procedures at the International Cooperation and Exchange Office (No. Registration can only be done after paying all the due fees for the academic year within two weeks of the start of a semester).
Those who are unable to register on time for some reason must go through the leave procedures, and they will be punished as absenteeism without taking leave (one day of absenteeism is counted as six class hours).
Those who fail to pay the fees according to the school regulations or do not meet the registration requirements will not be registered. Those who fail to complete the registration formalities for two weeks overdue will be treated as automatic withdrawal.
