Nanjing Vocational Institute of Transport Technology Scholarships
1. Types of Scholarships
（1）Freshman Scholarship
For new international students who apply to study in our school, the school will evaluate the new student scholarships according to their application conditions, and distribute them in different grades. The first-class scholarship will reward the tuition fee of the first year; the second-class scholarship will reward half the tuition fee of the first year; the third-class scholarship will reward the accommodation fee of the first year.
（2）Academic Excellence Scholarship
After one year of study, academic students will be awarded scholarships for academic excellence based on their academic performance and overall performance. The first-class scholarship will reward the tuition fee of the current year; the second-class scholarship will reward half the tuition fee of the current year; the third-class scholarship will reward the accommodation fee of the current year.
（3）Individual Scholarship
Individual scholarships include HSK Excellence Award, Science and Technology Innovation Award, Quality Development Award and other awards, with an amount of 300 yuan per person.
2. Evaluation Criteria
（1） Freshman Scholarship
The applicant must have foreign nationality, hold a foreign passport, be friendly to China, and be in good physical and mental health;
The applicant has good moral character, has no violation of laws and disciplines, and has obtained the equivalent of a high school diploma in his country;
The applicant has an excellent academic level;
The applicant has not received other scholarships provided by Chinese governments and organizations.
（2）Academic Excellence Scholarship
First-class scholarship: Semester attendance rate of more than 95%, study hard, excellent grades, actively participate in various activities organized by the school and colleges and departments, and perform well;
Second-class scholarship: Semester attendance rate of more than 90%, hard work, good grades, and good overall performance;
Third-class scholarship: Semester attendance rate of more than 85%, hard work, good overall performance.
（3）Individual Scholarship
HSK Excellence Award: Those who take the HSK Level 4 test after admission and obtain a score of 260 or above can apply for this scholarship.
Science and Technology Innovation Award: Those who publish academic papers in newspapers and periodicals with official numbers as the first author, or who have obtained patent certificates, or who have won awards for excellence or above in scientific and technological activities and skill competitions at or above the academy level, can apply for this scholarships.
Quality Development Award: Those who have a semester attendance rate of not less than 90% and actively participate in various activities organized by the college and secondary departments can apply for this scholarship.
3. Anyone who has one of the following circumstances during the semester or academic year will not be eligible to participate in various scholarships:
（1）Spreading unfriendly remarks against China or having unfriendly actions against China
（2）Violating Chinese laws and regulations and various rules and regulations;
（3）Participate in illegal social organization activities, illegal assembly, association, missionary, etc.;
（4） Violating the rules and regulations of the school;
（5）The attendance rate is less than 80%.
4. Selection Procedure
（1）The selection of the school’s comprehensive scholarships and individual scholarships is carried out every autumn. International students who meet the application conditions stipulated in these measures shall apply to the International Cooperation and Exchange Office within the specified time, and fill in the Nanjing Transportation Vocational and Technical College International Students Scholarship Application Form .
（2） The International Cooperation and Exchange Office summarizes the scores of the students participating in the evaluation and collects the selection materials, including transcripts, performance in the international student dormitory, daily behavior, HSK scores, social practice activities, various awards, etc.
（3）The International Cooperation and Exchange Office, the Academic Affairs Office, the Student Affairs Office and the relevant secondary colleges will form an international student scholarship review team to review the candidate materials, determine the list of winners, and report to the school for approval and publicize.
（4）The International Cooperation and Exchange Office will issue a document to announce the list of students who have won scholarships and commend them.
（5）For students who have already received scholarships, if they find fraudulent, deceitful behaviors, once verified, their honors will be revoked, the scholarships already issued will be recovered, and corresponding disciplinary actions will be taken.
