Measures for the Administration of Student Status of International Students in
Nanjing Vocational Institute of Transport Technology
Article 1 International students may apply for suspension, transfer or withdrawal during their studies at the school, and they will be processed in accordance with regulations after approval. International students who request to suspend, transfer or drop out of school should apply before the end of the semester. Overdue applications will not be accepted.
Article 2 International students shall not work or engage in activities unrelated to convalescence in China during the period of suspension due to business or illness, and shall not violate Chinese laws and school regulations, otherwise their resumption qualifications will be cancelled.
Article 3 International students who have suspended their studies shall not apply for admission to other schools in China, nor shall they apply for transfer.
Article 4 International students who are unable to study in this school due to personal reasons or who are not suitable for studying in this school can apply for transfer.
Article 5 International students who fall under any of the following circumstances will be withdrawn:
(1) The academic performance does not meet the requirements of the school or the school fails to complete the school within the prescribed time limit (including suspension);
(2) After the school break expires, the school fails to file an application for resumption within the time limit specified by the school or fails to pass the re-examination of the application for resumption;
(3) Those who are diagnosed by the hospital designated by the school and are unable to continue their studies at the school due to illness or accidental disability;
(4) Absenteeism for more than 30 class hours (inclusive) in one semester, or leaving the school for a total of two weeks (inclusive) or more without asking for leave and failing to participate in the teaching activities stipulated by the school;
(5) Those who have requested leave for more than one-third (inclusive) of the semester time in one semester and have not applied for suspension;
(6) Failing to register after the deadline set by the school without justifiable reasons;
(7) The fee is in arrears, and the fee has not been paid within one month from the date of payment of the fee;
(8) Applying for withdrawal from school in person;
(9) Those who do not fall within the scope of the preceding clauses, but violate the relevant regulations of the school, should be withdrawn from the school.
Article 6 Regarding the withdrawal of international students, the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange shall put forward the handling opinions and notify the students themselves, cancel their student status reports, and record them in the Academic Affairs Office.
International students who apply for withdrawal must submit a written application, which will be reviewed and approved by the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange. Students who drop out and receive scholarships must be refunded on a pro rata basis.
Article 7 When an international student withdraws from the school, if the study time at the school is within one semester, the tuition fee and accommodation fee paid for the current academic year will be refunded proportionally (settled in RMB, the same below). Tuition and accommodation fees are non-refundable.
