On May 18, the unveiling ceremony of the Silk Road Academy of Nanjing Vocational Institute of Transport Technology and the opening ceremony of the Silk Road Academy's transportation management class were grandly held. Dean Zhang Yi made a warm speech. Dean Zhang said that the establishment of the Silk Road College is a vivid practice of the college's active response to the Belt and Road initiative and consolidating the connotation of international school running. It is of great significance to promote the improvement of the level of international education during the 14th Five-Year Plan period. Dean Zhang put forward requirements for the construction of Silk Road College. First, effectively integrate high-quality resources both inside and outside the school, improve institutional guarantees, and effectively do a good job in top-level design; The international work pattern will give full play to the strengths of teachers, students, alumni and enterprises to tap potentials and form synergy. Vice President Yang Yiming read out the Notice of Nanjing Transportation Vocational and Technical College on Recognizing Excellent Students for Overseas Study Activities in (Country) in 2021, and congratulated the students who were commended. Dean Zhang Yi and Vice Dean Yang Yiming presented certificates and prizes to the outstanding students.

At the ceremony, students who participated in overseas research in 2021 first shared videos and speeches. The short film My Beautiful Encounter with Macau recorded the diverse and exciting research activities of teachers and students going to Macau University of Science and Technology. The student representatives shared their perceptions and experiences of studying and exchanging in Macau University of Science and Technology and Cheongju University in South Korea, as well as the multicultural impact they felt, and showed the results of Korean language learning during the exchange.
After the unveiling ceremony, Dr. Zou Bai from Macau University of Science and Technology gave a special lecture on The Belt and Road Initiative and Partners of Portuguese-speaking Countries - The Historical Origin of Portuguese Culture in China, and gave the first lesson of the class. It introduced Macao's unique history and culture, local customs and geographical knowledge, as well as Macao's role in the construction of the Belt and Road. The students said that the course was lively and interesting and benefited a lot.
